Make a list of all the things you want to forget about your life.
It may not be easy to remember. It may take time.
Take a day. A couple of days. A week if needed.
Some may need a month. Effort may be required.
Review each breathing season year by year.
Carry a notebook and pen.
When something comes to mind,
jot it down,
a word or deed expelled in anger,
an injury too readily received,
an injury too readily given,
enjoyment spoiled by attitude,
a pleasure ruined by mood.
Note everything you would like expunged from your record.
Be exhaustive. Be explicit. Be detailed.
When your list of all that is to be forgotten is complete,
remember,
this also is your life.
